Skil’s PWRCore 40 line is an underrated entry in the cordless space. Their battery technology includes a literal cooling material wrapped around each cell to keep them from overheating, which is a big deal for high-draw tools like blowers.
The blower itself is well-designed with a digital brushless motor that provides plenty of torque. It’s lightweight and easy to use, with a variable speed trigger that is very responsive. It’s a great mid-range option for those who want better-than-average performance without stepping up to the "pro" price points.
Things to Consider: The Skil 40V platform is still growing, so you won't find quite as many compatible tools as you would with some of the bigger brands. But for the price and the battery tech, it’s a very smart buy for most homeowners.
